LT Lennon and LT O’Malley did an excellent presentation today on Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events. This is a very informative class on what you should do if you are involved in a hostile situation. You will learn what the acronym ADD (Avoid, Deny and Defend) means. Unfortunately as we saw this week, these situations can occur anywhere, even in a town voted safest in the county. If you haven’t been to one of their sessions, we strongly suggest you look for the date of the next session and sign up. Thanks to Lt Lennon, Lt O’Malley, and the Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring these classes.
